Team Notre-Dame has involved not only couples from all over the world, but also from different generations. The charism, spread for the first time by Father Caffarel and the founding couples, has proved to be ageless: it succeeds in helping both newlyweds and those who have had the good fortune to celebrate twenty, thirty, forty, fifty years of wedding anniversaries to live the sacrament of marriage to the full.
The Turin Gathering is no exception and is a true testimony to this ability of the movement to involve couples of all ages. An example? Jim and Maria, aged 89 (90 next week) and 87 respectively, a married couple from the United Kingdom, with a son who is a bishop, who have been with Teams for 56 years and who this week took the F21 bus every morning to reach the Inalpi Arena and follow all the activities from start to finish.
