Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education

Archivist and Librarian of the Roman Catholic Church Renowned poet, on 13 June 2020 he received the European Prize “Helena Vaz da Silva” for his ability to promote beauty and poetry as part of the European and world cultural heritage. Appointed by Benedict XVI in 2011 as Consultor of the Pontifical Council for Culture, he was confirmed in this position in 2016 by Pope Francis. In 2018, Pope Francis invited him to preach the Lenten retreat for the Curia before appointing him Archivist and Librarian of the Roman Catholic Church a few months later.

Marina MARCOLINI

was born in Mestre (VE) on 22/1/1961. Degree in Literature from the Cà Foscari University in Venice, Doctorate in Italianistics at the same university Post-doctorate at the University of Padova Since 2001 he has been Associate Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Udine. In 2014 he started attending courses at the S. Zeno Theological Institute in Verona. Since 2009 she has collaborated with Father Ermes Ronchi on the Rai Uno programme “A sua immagine” as coauthor of commentaries on the (published by Paoline). She is the author of a book of spirituality and poetry on the women of the Gospel.

Maria Clara LUCCHETTI BINGEMER

Was born in Brazil. In 1975, she obtained a degree in social communications at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, where she also obtained a master’s degree in theology. She received her doctorate in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. She is one of the leading theologians in Latin America and is a frequent speaker at international conferences. She is considered an expert in lay spirituality, spirituality emerging from the Christian grassroots communities of Latin America; she is one of the leaders of the Lay Movement of Christian Life Communities founded by the Jesuits.

Suor Nathalie BECQUART

French Sister of the Xavières Congregation, born in Fontainebleau in 1969. She was auditor at the Youth Synod and general coordinator of the presynod. She was director of the National Service for the Evangelisation of Youth and Vocations of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of the French Bishops’ Conference. In February 2021, Pope Francis appointed her undersecretary of the Synod of Bishops.

Masu e Xosé Manuel DOMINGUEZ DE LA FUENTE

Xosé Manuel holds a doctorate in philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 2000, he has worked as a teacher and lecturer at the Francisco de Vitoria University and is a member of the university’s economic and social research team. In 2013, she took over the direction of the ‘Edith Stein’ Family Support Centre in Orense, the Instituto da Familia and the International Support Institute, where she provides personal assistance, as well as training others in this discipline. Since 2015 he has been running the Master’s Degree in Family and Marital Orientation and Coaching at the Instituto da Familia, a title recognised by the UCAV. In 2018, in collaboration with the Edelvives Foundation, he launched two online projects focused on educational support for teachers. He is currently a member of the Emanuel Mounier Institute, the Spanish Association of Personalism and the Association of Galician Language Writers.

Gabriella GAMBINO

Graduated in Political Science from the University of Milan in 1995 and received her doctorate in 2001 from the Istituto Romano di Bioetica of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She received her doctorate in 2001 from the Roman Institute of Bioethics of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. From 2013 to 2016, he worked for the Pontifical Council for the Laity, associate professor of bioethics at Tor Vergata University and full professor at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family. On 7 November 2017, Pope Francis appointed her undersecretary of the dicastery for the laity, the family and life, with delegated responsibility for life. From 2019 to 2022, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the Pontifical Academy for Life. Gabriella Gambino is married and has five children.

Elisabeth Saléon-Terras

Collaborator for over twenty years with Father Caffarel in Troussures. She has been a consecrated virgin since 1983. She has been in the congregation of Jean Marie Vianney since 1999. In the community, she is in charge of the animation of prayer for the community.
