Besides the testimonies, the Mass, and the numerous opportunities for meetings at the Gathering, there is a very special space dedicated to prayer.
One of the proposals, initiated by Father Caffarel, for living prayer is the call to become intercessors. Through prayer and fasting, once a month, many couples experience an encounter with God. The intentions can be personal, through messages sent by the Team Members who are going through serious trials, and general, according to the intentions of the Church.
In the venue hosting the Gathering, a special place has been created: a chapel where everyone can experience this practice. Francesco and Giulia, a couple who have been part of the movement for thirty-four years, wanted to testify to their commitment: “With prayer, we strengthen our relationship as a couple. It is a way to lay bare our struggles and offer them to the Lord”. Mattia emphasized: “Prayer is a way to be close to friends who live far away.”
