Yesterday and today, the participants of the Gathering were guided in the footsteps of the saints and prophets of charity through five guided itineraries. Many of the locations, chosen for their beauty and accessibility, are linked to the life and works of Saint John Bosco, but some participants also had the chance to get to know Blessed Frassati, Saint Joseph Cafasso, and Blessed Allamano more closely. All under the consoling gaze of the mother of God, who has a strong history of devotion and veneration in the city of Turin, particularly summarized in the image of the “Consolata.”
One group followed in the footsteps of Don Bosco, between Chieri and Colle Don Bosco: the latter, a place known to many participants, for whom the figure of Don Bosco is a source of inspiration. Here, Don Bosco was born, and it is here that he brought his dream and vision to life.
A second group took public buses to reach Valdocco and Maria Ausiliatrice, San Giovannino, the Consolata, the Duomo, San Francesco di Sales, and the Don Bosco House Museum: an urban itinerary that unfolded through the city of everyday people, in the traffic and daily life: the places where our saints and social prophets lived in the past and live today.

Dozens of volunteers were involved in the itineraries, many of whom are not equipiers: children of equipiers, friends of equipiers, children of friends of equipiers.
People who do not know the team or only know it indirectly or by hearsay but did not hesitate to respond to the call of those who organized the routes.
All, equipiers and non-equipiers, did not just perform their tasks, but when necessary, they took care of individuals, accompanying them by car, helping those who had lost personal belongings… Experiencing a spiritual journey in the “city of everyday life” was a challenge: we tried to minimize discomfort and allow participants to have a pleasant experience, and this is also due to the great work of the couples who helped before and during the event. Thank you!
