The representatives of the International Leading Team, approaching the International Gathering in Turin 2024 from 15 to 20 July at the Inalpi Arena, were received in an audience in the Vatican by the Pope.
Francis underlined the urgency of highlighting the “vocation of Christian marriage and the Christian family is going through a real ‘cultural storm’ in this change of era and finds itself threatened and tempted on various fronts“, and for this reason the work of the Teams, which are expanding, is “precious for the Church“, because they accompany the spouses and are an expression of the outgoing Church “which approaches people’s situations and problems and spends itself without reserve for the good of the families of today and tomorrow“.
Pope Francis also urged and thanked the team because “with your charisma, you can become attentive helpers towards those in need, those who are alone, those who have family problems and don’t know who to talk to about it because they are ashamed or have lost hope“.
